I laugh every time I see this so I have to post it!

This site has some great tips on how to get better at drumming on Rock Band.  Obviously the drums are the hardest to play because it is the most realistic instrument in the game.  It is hard to develop a independency of your arms and your foot but this has a few tips and as it suggests it is not something that will happen over night.  It is all good until you have to go up to the next level in the game!  I have new respect for drummers!

I love hackers, they all have way way way too much time on their hands and usually a very good sense of humor!  Too bad the government didn’t think it was funny and is now looking at putting them in jail for 3 years each.

A great video of the new A4 I think I am in love…going to be a rough decision between this and the A5!

TipCam is a free application that will allow you to record a video of your desktop, this is especially helpful when trying to so someone who is not so computer literate how to do something that is complicated to describe over the phone.

I finally got a chance to use this program and it works exactly as expected and is great for creating a quick screencast to send to your family when they don’t what what do with technology!

I noticed today my windows laptop wasn’t auto enabling num lock on boot, this was very annoying so I found this little bit of code to solve that:

1. Click Start, click Run, and type regedit to open the Windows registry editor.
2. In the registry, open the below folders.
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
   Control Panel\
   Keyboard\
3. Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2. Below is the explanation of each of these values.
   0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
   1 = Disable Num Lock.
   2 = Numlock is turned ON after  the logon.

I had to look around today for a Hex color code to change the default color of a hyperlink on my blog today and ran across this sight and thought it was worth noting.  It makes finding a hex color super easy!

Looks like Linksys finally decided to make their routers look like something that you would actually want to put in plain sight, which would make sense as that is the best placement for a router.  I constantly hear from my girlfriend how ugly our router is with its high gain antenna’s sitting on top of our nice cherry wood entertainment center so I think I might have a better chance of her being alright with the new router (WRT310N and WRT160N) pictured above next to my close friend and current Internet router (WRT54G)  No pricing available yet but the WRT160N is supposed to be sub 100 while the WRT310N isn’t probable because of some features such as QoS and fun stuff like that.

Looks like they managed to stretch the OLED TV’s to 27 inches at CES 2008, it will be interesting to see if this technology takes off.  One thing that is amazing about these TV’s are their super slim profiles along with their amazing contrast ratios of 1,000,000:1.  Just like its 11 inch mother this toy is from Sony and will cost $2,500 with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 (1080p)

The thickness of the TV is equal to three credit cards stacked! amazing!
