I figured this would be a fun one to add to the blog so I can look back on it but I think it speaks worlds about what is going on in the current car market. Considering I just read that Fiat may take of Chrystler I think it is pretty crazy. Also wanted to post some pictures using WP’s built in gallery just to check it out, I am thinking that I like NextGen better…

Well not a big fan of convertables, but still a fan of the A5. This is the new Carbriolet and a few specs on it. Here in the U.S. we’ll only be getting the 2.0L TFSI four-cylinder engine or the 3.2L FSI V6 that powers the A5 Coupe. The S5 is a different story. While the S5 coupe has a 4.2L V8 that it keeps until the end of the 2010 model year, the Cabriolet will immediately get the new supercharged 3.0L TFSI V6 that recently debuted in the new S4. The 333-hp V6 can be had with either the 6-speed manual or 7-speed S-Tronic dual clutch gearbox
Well this morning my check engine light went off which was met with a few choice words. Luckily I read a while back that most car parts shops like Checker or Autozone will read the codes for free for you and clear the check engine light. Well I made my way by one on the way home and looked at the model she was using to read the codes. In the past week both Laura and I have had our check engine lights come on and it’s really annoying that I cannot tell what is causing the issue. So I am thinking of investing in one of those diagnostic tools. I found one that will take updates from the Internet as well as record live data that you can then chart on your computer. The model is the Equus 3130 Innova Diagnostic Code Scanner. Amazon has them on sale for $154, after the holidays I may be picking one of these up. Seeing as I will always have a car and as long as this stays updated I should be good to go
Looks like they came out with a second episode for the Meet the Beckers Audi car commercials. Love how Audi is coming directly after their competitors!
This is a new Audi commercial that they just started releasing and it is hilarious. I love the fact that Audi has decided to go straight after their competition and show just how old school and outdated they are. Made me laugh out loud when I saw it!
ummm…yes please. Everyone need a 505 horsepower supercharged S5 with 21 inch wheels and a suspension worthy of racing. Yes this car keeps getting better and better and they look amazing in person. They paid great attention to the body lines and the LED daytime running accents in the headlights are very distinct and can be spot miles away. Audi is very happy with their new car as I saw it on the Audi car lot for $54,000 and that was just the A5 not the S5. As soon as I graduate grad school you bet I will be looking and pricing these things as fast as I can. Until then I am staying away from the dealerships and test driving as I am afraid I would buy it today!
The highways that connects Abu Dhabi with Dubai had a little bit of a fender bender this morning. Looks like an accident involving 200 cars including 25 cars that caught fire and six buses were involved. Hundreds were injured and so far 6 people have passed away. It seems that the fog is to blame. Well hopefully everyone is alright and I am sure that most of them can afford to get a new car anyway’s seeing as how 1 out of 3 Bugatti’s are being sent to Dubai!
So if you forget that this is for a snowboarding magazine this is pretty amazing. Looks like they got a rally racer to go with them in a snowboard park and have some fun along side with them. Pretty amazing stuff! I guess they broke the record for the longest jump in a car on snow while doing this shot. The official information is on the 0-60 website but check out the video below! I love rally racing if only it would become bigger in the US!
Here are some pictures of the R8 and here is a spec sheet. This car is pretty amazing!
