Well it wasn’t a blizzard but it was a lot of snow. One of those southbound storms that just dumps on Denver. One of the odd things about this storm is it snowed for 2 days straight that is pretty rare! Total snow fall is about 21-24 inches.
There are also some pictures of the pumpkins we carved, I bet you can guess the one Laura did and the one I did! Sorry for the blurry-ness joys of taking a picture in the dark you have to hold the camera totally still which obviously I cannot do too well.
I had to dig some trenches for the sidewalks otherwise it floods the sidewalk and freezes and makes a mess!
These are really amazing and sum up 2008 very well
I was reading my blogs this morning and came across this one today. This is a great site and oddly enough exactly what I have been looking for. I have been trying to find some fun and interesting backgrounds for my PS3 and I have been searching Flickr through its regular search and have had modest results. The issue was more about the layout of the results than anything wasn’t really conducive of looking at tons of pictures. This site does just that, it gives you thumbnails and as you roll over images tells you the resolution of the pictures so you can quickly decide if it will work as a background. This also works with the creative common licenses to save you a trip to court which is always a good thing! This site will save a ton of time and bring up tons of new pictures for me. I am assuming the reason that it is so slow is because it’s making its way around the blogosphere and getting hit pretty hard right now. A great find!
This one has been sitting in my backlog for a while to be added to my blogs. Here are a whole bunch of High Definition pictures of the Large Hadron Collider which is now called the Halo Project. This project is on hold until April as they melted a few magnets during their first round of testing.
